The Balkan Journal of Philosophy, a peer-reviewed international academic journal, published under the auspices of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, is soliciting papers for its regular annual issue.
The Balkan Journal of Philosophy aims to publish high-quality work from all areas of contemporary analytic philosophy. It encourages submissions on topics of current interest that would appeal to a broad philosophical audience. The journal is also intended to serve as a forum for the development and dissemination of scholarly work in the analytic tradition in the Balkan region, Central and Eastern Europe.
The BJP is a general philosophy journal that welcomes submissions from all branches of analytic philosophy. Submissions on interdisciplinary topics and research based on non-traditional methodologies (e.g., experimental philosophy) are also welcome.
The BJP is published biannually in print. Starting in 2025, the journal will have just an online, open access version. Journal articles are published in English.
One of BJP’s issues is a regular open issue published in October each year. The journal also publishes a special thematic issue in June.
