Details

Since 2008, the Jean-Jacques Rousseau Lectures and Conferences have been held annually to honour the Swiss-born philosopher, writer and composer and his enduring impact on political philosophy and moral psychology.

The 2024 instalment is proudly organised by our Standing Group on Kantian Political Thought with the Keele-Oxford-St Andrews Kantian (KOSAK) Research Centre. Held in conjunction with the Winter School of the Standing Group on Kantian Political Thought, it promises to push the boundaries of philosophical discourse.

  • Keynote lecture on Who is a person? Universality and Exclusion in Kant's Ethics by Marcus Willaschek, Goethe-Universität Frankfurt
  • Conference on Kant on Reason, Metaphysics and Morality. Themes from the Work of Marcus Willaschek

Secure your spot to join this thought-provoking discussion that brings together leading scholars and thinkers to explore the rich philosophies of Rousseau and Kant!
