On March 7-8, 2025, the Philosophy Department at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign will hold its 46th Annual Graduate Philosophy Conference. We are pleased to announce that our keynote speaker will be Michael Otsuka from Rutgers University.
We invite graduate students to submit papers for presentation in any area of philosophy, with priority given to papers related to moral and political philosophy. All submitted papers should: (i) not exceed 3,000 words (not including abstracts, footnotes, and references), (ii) be preceded by a 200-word abstract, and (iii) be prepared for blind review.
Accepted papers will have 20 minutes for presentation, followed by a 10-minute comment period and a 20-minute Q&A session. Each paper will be assigned a graduate student commentator.
Please use your paper title as the document’s name. You are also welcome to include a diversity statement (≤ 100 words) in a separate document.
