Details

The issue of the relationship between philosophy and Christianity is still widely discussed in scholarly circles and continues to cause much controversy and misunderstanding. At the same time, a considerable number of researchers are inclined to seek common ground to build a coherent vision of the world within the framework of so-called Christian philosophy. The organizers of the international conference "Philosophy and Christianity. Past - Present - Future" wish to create another opportunity for scholars in the humanities, social sciences, and theological sciences to discuss the current understanding of the relationship between ancient and modern philosophy and Christianity, and to delineate the prospects for further dialogue between them.

The conference marks the 60th anniversary of the philosophical journal "Studia Philosophiae Christianae" (https://www.spch.uksw.edu.pl/), which was founded in 1965 at the Faculty of Christian Philosophy of the Academy of Catholic Theology in Warsaw (now Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw).

We cordially invite all those interested in the topics of the conference to participate.
