Details

The Space, Time and Causation in Quantum Gravity project (http://SpaceQG.com) at the University of Geneva will host a workshop entitled “Quantum Gravity and the Laws of Nature” on December 12-13, 2024. The aim is to bring experts working on the nature of spacetime and quantum gravity to examine the fate of existing proposals on laws of nature in light of the possible emergence of spacetime in quantum gravity. As these proposals usually rely on spatial and temporal notions, an interesting question is to examine their availability in such a captivating yet thorny environment. The workshop will aim at making progress on this and related topics.
