The Inaugural Symposium in Logic in the Arab World

Kuwait University will hold its inaugural symposium in logic on February 18th and 19th of 2025. 

Keynote speakers:

Graham Priest (CUNY Graduate Center)

Gillian Russell (Australian National University)

Suki Finn (Royal Holloway University of London)

Eduardo Barrio (University of Buenos Aires)

We invite abstract submissions in the following areas: Non-classical logics, Semantic and Soritical Paradoxes, and Philosophy and Epistemology of Logic. For examples of topics for each area, please refer to the website. The symposium will be in a hybrid format, but priority will be given to in-person participation.

To submit, please send an anonymized abstract (no more than two pages) along with a title page that contains the participant's name, affiliation, and participation format (online/in person) to [email protected].

We would like to encourage submissions from members of groups that are underrepresented in logic.

Submission Deadline: November 25th, 2024  

Notification of Decision: Mid-December
