This time round our speakers will be:
- Dr. Nick Brancazio (University of Adelaide) - Biological approaches to agency and attention.
- Dr. Matthew Egbert (University of Auckland) - Using computational models to study how a system can solve its own problems.
CASIP (Chinese Academy of Sciences, Institute of Philosophy) is a newly founded institute concerned with major issues at the intersection of philosophy and science. It also aims to explore the values, political, and cultural matters closely related to science and technology, and contribute to both scientific innovation and philosophical advancement.
