Annual Southwest Graduate Philosophy Conference 

Arizona State University 

The Conference will take place on Friday and Saturday, April 18th & 19th 2025 in Tempe, Arizona at ASU. 

Keynote Speaker: Dr. Amy Berg (Rice University)

Topic: Well-being

We welcome submissions in all areas of philosophy. Submissions related to the topic, well-being, will be given priority. 

Each presenter will be given 30 minutes for their presentation and 15 minutes for Q&A, so please keep in mind a word limit of 3000-3500 words. 

Submissions should be prepared for blind review, with the title of the paper as the name of the document. Please include a separate cover page with the following information:  

  • Name

  • Institution

  • Title of paper 

  • Abstract (250 words or fewer) 

  • Contact information (email and phone number)

  • Indicate whether you would like to be a respondent for a paper and include relevant AOS/AOC. A respondent prepares at least three questions to start the presenter’s Q&A session.

Please include the paper of 3000-3500 words with your submission.
