We are pleased to invite you to our 2025 Graduate Conference on Authority, which will take place at Utrecht University on May 8 and 9. During this event, we hope to bring together students to question and discuss the nature, limits, and implications of authority in various aspects of life.
We encourage submissions from a wide range of perspectives, including but not limited to legislative, political, educational, first-person, literary authority, etc. We invite graduate students for a 25-minute presentation and to participate in a 45-minute panel alongside their fellow presenters and keynote speakers.

If you would like to join two of the organisers as speakers at this conference, please submit an anonymised abstract of up to 250 words for peer review to [email protected]. In your submission email, please include your name, pronouns, contact information, the university you are affiliated with, and the subdiscipline relevant to your paper (e.g. theoretical philosophy, history of philosophy, practical philosophy/applied ethics).
