Details

Various philosophical traditions, east and west, offer rich and alternative ways of theorizing about varieties of epistemic achievements and virtues.  To explore this approach, we aim to bring experts and scholars from ten different traditions in conversation with each other and contemporary epistemologists. These will include some of the perspectives from the Africana, Arabic, Chinese, Early Modern European, Greek, Indian, Indigenous Andean, Jewish, Latin American, and Medieval Latin traditions.

We are also organizing two local workshops How to integrate Chinese, Sanskrit, indigenous, Latin American, and Africana philosophy into Intro level teaching. Please check our website for details.
