The Texas Tech University Philosophy Graduate Student Association announces a call for papers for its 8th annual graduate student conference, to be held April 4 - 5, 2014 in Lubbock, Texas. The topic for this conference is epistemology.

Possible Funding:

A small stipend may be awarded to some presenters to reduce the cost of travel.

Submission Details:

Submissions from current graduate students in any area of epistemology are welcome, but those dealing with virtue epistemology are particularly encouraged.  

Abstracts may not exceed 300 words.  Papers should be between 3,000 and 3,500 words.  All abstracts and papers should be prepared for blind review.  Include with each submission a separate document containing the presenter’s name, institution, e-mail address, and paper title.  Submissions may be in .PDF, .docx or .doc format. 

Abstracts are due Saturday, February 22nd, 2014.    

All submissions should be sent to Daryk Scott ([email protected]).  Students who have submitted abstracts shall receive a notification of acceptance by Saturday, March 1st, 2014.

Full papers must be submitted for review by Friday, March 14th, 2014.
