Dear Colleagues,
Mystical themes, which are present in all major world religions—including Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, Zoroastrianism, Hinduism, and others—represent a profound and universal dimension of spiritual experience. Given that the mystical aspects of religions often share common ground, they hold significant potential for fostering interreligious dialogue and advancing comparative studies. This is particularly relevant in contemporary religious studies, where understanding the intersections and divergences of spiritual traditions is of growing importance.
We are pleased to announce a special issue dedicated to exploring Mystical Themes in World Religions. We invite researchers to contribute their insights, analyses, and systematic elaborations on this topic. Submissions may focus on specific aspects, case studies, or theoretical frameworks that illuminate the mystical dimensions within and across religious traditions.
Your contributions will not only enrich the academic discourse but also promote a deeper understanding of the shared spiritual heritage that transcends cultural and religious boundaries. We look forward to your collaboration in making this special issue a valuable resource for scholars and practitioners alike.
