Pharmakon is now accepting polished undergraduate papers* on any topic relating to philosophy or the study of religion for its spring 2025 issue. Interested students should read this call in its entirety.

Revise, Don’t Reinvent!

Students are strongly encouraged to revise and expand papers originally written for philosophy or religious studies courses. Use this opportunity to strengthen arguments with deeper analysis or new evidence, incorporate feedback from instructors or peers, and develop ideas you wish to explore further beyond the original assignment.

  • Abstract: Include a 250-word abstract at the beginning of your paper.
  • Format: Anonymous, double-spaced, 12-pt font (Times New Roman or similar).
  • Citations: Use Chicago Manual of Style notes and bibliography style.
  • Blind Review: Remove all personal identifiers (name, course info, etc.) from the paper.
