The aim of the Vira Verita is to develop critical thinking through bringing different disciplines together, such as sociology, philosophy, gender studies, psychology, history, political science, etc. Therefore, this special issue seeks to bring together researchers working from diverse perspectives on this topic to focus on the possible answers to the question of how the notion of “nature” has affected social dynamics while considering its past, its present and its future. Nature is a rich, complex and dynamic concept and this special issue welcomes any paper that investigates the relationship between nature and ecology, urban, gender, identity, philosophy, and everyday life, etc.
