'Language and Reality' is the first edition of the Bologna analytic philosophy seminars. It is a cycle of meetings where participants chorally discuss a topic of the contemporary analytic horizon together with the scholar who is currently working on it. The seminar series has this structure: for each topic, there will be 1) a preparatory meeting and 2) a dialogue meeting with the guest speaker. The first main meeting will feature Silvia De Toffoli as guest speaker and will concern a possible fallibilist account for an epistemology of mathematics (on the basis of her forthcoming book 'Fallibilist Epistemology of Mathematics'). In the second meeting we will discuss with Matti Eklund his new book 'Alien Structure' and the implications it has in metaphysics and philosophy of language.
