CFP: Workshop "Assertion, commitment, and deniability"

The workshop aims to provide a platform for philosophers of language, epistemologists, and linguists to discuss new work on the workshop’s main themes.

We invite submissions of abstracts of no more than 1000 words (excluding bibliography). Selected papers will be presented in 75-minute sessions, divided between the talk and Q&A. The workshop will feature 1–2 selected papers per day (4 papers in total).

Notification of Acceptance: June 30, 2025

Submission Guidelines: Abstracts should be prepared for blind review and submitted as PDFs. Pease include a separate cover sheet PDF with the author’s name, institutional affiliation, contact information, and paper title. Only one abstract per person may be submitted.

Unfortunately, we are unable to cover travel expenses. However, there is no attendance fee, and we will confirm whether accommodation costs can be covered by the time of abstract acceptance.
