BACKGROUND

Xan Bozzo (Center for Applied Ethics, UW-Stout) is collaborating with Harrison Lee (University of Mississippi) to host a bioethics workshop at the University of Wisconsin, Stout. The workshop will be held from May 26-27.

The aim of the workshop is to host 8-10 presenters. Each presenter will submit a working draft of a paper in advance so that other presenters have a chance to read it. At the event, each presenter will give a short summary of their paper and have a chance to discuss it with the other participants.

LODGING & STIPEND

Hotel rooms for presenters have been booked from May 25 (check in) to May 28 (check out). Hotel expenses will be covered by the Center for Applied Ethics. In addition, participants will receive a $1,000 stipend.

HOW TO APPLY

Applications are due April 30, 2025.

  1. One or two paragraphs on why you are interested in participating in the workshop, and how it will aid your research and/or teaching.
  2. A title and abstract of the paper draft you will be presenting during the workshop.
  3. Whether you are interested in financial support.
  4. Please attach to the email a current cv.

 There are a limited number of slots for this workshop.
