Connected Minds: Dynamic Interactions in Cognitive, Social, and Artificial Systems
The 21st Conference of the Italian Association of Cognitive Sciences (AISC) will focus on the role of dynamic interactions in explaining the functioning of complex systems such as brains, communities, networks, and artificial agents. The theoretical and experimental study of dynamic interactions is increasingly illuminating how brains work, how communities behave, and how artificial systems process information. We welcome presentations on the state-of-the-art and ongoing research regarding the multifaceted nature of dynamic interactions in cognitive, social, and artificial systems. We particularly encourage submissions that foster interdisciplinary dialogue among the various subdisciplines of cognitive science, encompassing both theoretical and experimental perspectives.
We accept submissions in all topics related to cognitive science, including (but not limited to):
- 4E cognition
- Artificial intelligence and cognition
- Cognitive architecture
- Cognitive modeling
- Cognitive neuroscience
- Cognitive psychology

We cordially invite researchers to submit papers, poster, or symposia proposals through: https://forms.gle/uufxvsxR777g65Ct8
Submission deadline: May 18, 2025
Notification of acceptance: June 15, 2025
Paper and poster submissions require a short abstract of no more than 100 words and a long one of no more than 500 words (bibliography excluded, to be uploaded as a PDF file). Paper presentations are allocated 20-minute sessions (followed by a 5-minute Q&A).
Poster presentations will have a dedicated session. Paper and poster submissions should be fully anonymized.
Symposia submissions require a short description of no more than 100 words and a detailed one of no more than 2000 words (bibliography excluded, to be uploaded as a PDF file) that should include:
- a description of the proposed symposium and of the individual papers (3 to 5 abstracts) of no more than 2000 words overall, submitted by the symposium organizer;
- a list of the participants and their affiliations.
Each symposium is allocated a 1-hour and 45-minute slot, managed by the symposium organizer. A symposium should ideally consist of 4 talks, with a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5. All submissions should be in English.
Participation in the AISC 2025 conference is free of charge for all AISC members with a valid membership. Those who have not yet paid the 2025 AISC membership fee can register by following the instructions at the following page: https://www.associazione-scienze-cognitive.it
