With this year’s theme, "Indigenous Philosophy: Reclaiming Narratives from the Peripheries," MUPC International invites participants to engage with pressing questions of indigenous philosophies. This theme underscores the need to re-center Indigenous worldviews within philosophical discourse, challenging dominant Eurocentric and colonial paradigms. It affirms the importance of Indigenous voices in shaping philosophical thought and addressing urgent global issues such as environmental sustainability, social equity, and cultural preservation.

MUPC International stands as a space for undergraduate students, across the Bicol Region, the Philippines, and the world to expand their philosophical horizons. It offers a collaborative space where students can sharpen their philosophical faculties, develop research capabilities, and contribute meaningfully to the decolonization of knowledge.

This conference will feature distinguished keynote and plenary speakers on Indigenous philosophy:
