Dynamis Seminar 2025

This year, the annual seminar of Dynamis: Finnish Network for Metaphysics will be hosted by the University of Helsinki. It features three days of talks spanning modality, ontology, time, philosophy of mathematics, metametaphysics, mind, history of philosophy and more besides, including three keynote presentations by:

Prof. Alan Hájek (ANU): A Chancy Theory of Counterfactuals

Prof. Marja-Liisa Kakkuri-Knuuttila (Aalto University): Implications of Nina Emery’s Naturalist Metaphysics

Prof. Markus Schrenk (HHU Dusseldorf): Properties for and of Better Best Systems.

Registration is not necessary to attend the event. However, if you would like to join us for dinner at Helsingin Bryggeri at 18h30 on the evening of Tuesday 27th May (at own expense), please contact Alex Carruth by email ([email protected]) by the end of the day on Monday 19th May.
