The University of Montana is very pleased to host ISEE's 2025 annual summer meeting Sunday, June 8 - Thursday, June 12.

Events and Field Trips to Note!

Sunday, June 8 - Brian Burkhart will provide the opening keynote, sharing his current work in indigenous environmental philosophy.

Monday, June 9 - Missoula’s Milltown State Park was created through a Superfund dam removal and restoration project. The conference will include a guided tour of the park, explaining its industrial history and ongoing restoration.

Tuesday, June 10 - Andrew Light will deliver the 2nd Annual Albert Borgmann Memorial Lecture. This event is open to all conference attendees and the wider Missoula public.

Wednesday, June 11 - The conference will provide bus transportation for a guided tour of the CSKT Bison Range visitors center to learn about bison conservation efforts and the tribes’ management of the range. Attendees are free to organize their own transportation if they prefer to explore the Bison Range longer.
