A joint presentation of the Liberalism Rekindled project (PI: David Enoch) and the Sexual Consent in a Post-#MeToo World project (PI: Kate Greasley), this conference explores questions in ethics, political philosophy, politics, and law related to the titular themes of truth, consent, and power. 

Topics include:

  • The role of (moral) truth in political epistemology
  • The role of (moral) truth in political legitimacy 
  • Conspiracy theories
  • Democracy and information in the digital age
  • Privacy and consent online
  • The role of consent in sexual ethics
  • Changing sexual norms 
  • Accountability and the #MeToo movement
