You are warmly invited to a workshop on "Grounding and Truthmaking: Contemporary and Historical Perspectives", which will be held at Central European University in Vienna on Monday, June 30 to Wednesday, July 2, 2025. 

The aim of the workshop is to bring together leading scholars working on the topics of grounding and truthmaking, both in contemporary philosophy and in the history of philosophy.

We have a fantastic lineup of speakers who will be approaching the conference theme from a diverse array of perspectives, including ancient philosophy, non-Western philosophy, analytic metaphysics, logic, and social philosophy. Our speakers include Louis deRosset (Vermont), Kit Fine (NYU), Aaron Griffith (William and Mary), Marko Malink (NYU), Francesca Poggiolesi (CNRS), Christof Rapp (LMU), Mike Raven (Victoria), Jonathan Schaffer (Rutgers), Benjamin Schnieder (Vienna), Naomi Thompson (Bristol), Alice van’t Hoff (Vienna), Anubav Vasudevan (Chicago), and Jennifer Wang (SFU).
