ABSTRACT: Narratives often conflict with each other. In this talk, I examine the phenomenon of narrative conflict. I defend a thesis I call narrative relativism. Narrative relativism says that there are some narratives which (a) genuinely conflict and (b) where this narrative conflict is incapable of rational resolution.
