Details

We invite submissions to participate in the upcoming student conference, Bodies in Digital Transition, supported by the CHASE Doctoral Training Partnership.

Bodies in Digital Transition is a three-day transdisciplinary conference that brings together scholars, artists, and technologists to explore contemporary digital intimacies, (dis)embodied virtual experiences, and their transcultural articulations. We invite critical dialogues and creative interventions across disciplines, cultures, and methodologies in times where digital technologies increasingly mediate our experiences of the body, intimacy, and cultural identity.

This conference is designed for doctoral researchers at all stages of their research.  Whether your research centres on the digital or not, we invite creative interpretations of the theme to explore transdisciplinary possibilities from diverse perspectives!

The conference will feature keynote presentations (Dr Nicola Liberati, Dr Dan Strutt, Dr Tomoko Tamari), practical workshops (led by performative artist Stelarc and Japanese composer Keiichiro Shibuya), and networking opportunities.
