The Deductive & Mathematical Cognition and Philosophy Conference will take place at the University of Bristol on 7th-8th April 2014. The conference aims to bring together academics working on issues concerning Mathematics and Logic to investigate the ways in which the empirical sciences, (and the Cognitive Sciences in particular) might assist philosophical inquiry into the core metaphysical, epistemological and methodological questions resulting from Mathematics and Logic. The conference is supported by The British Society for the Philosophy of Science.

The two day conference will dedicate one day to the influence of Cognitive Science on the Philosophy of Mathematics, and the other to its impact on the Philosophy of Logic. Each day will consist of five talks of approximately 40 minutes in length with twenty minutes for questions and further discussion.

The conference fee of £20 (£10 for students), and is intended to cover the costs of lunch and coffee for both days of the conference. This is payable on arrival.
