Submission deadline: October 1, 2025
Details
The Journal of Gadamer Studies (JGS) is now accepting submissions for its inaugural issue, which will be published in spring 2026. The JGS welcomes original submissions in English concerning the philosophy of Hans-Georg Gadamer and its legacy. Additionally, the JGS welcomes translations of Gadamer’s essays and reviews of books pertaining to Gadamer.
The JGS is an open access journal hosted by Texas A&M University and is published biannually. Submissions are subject to the double-blind peer review process and will be evaluated for their scholarly contribution. Authors should first review our guidelines and then submit their essays through our submissions portal. To guarantee consideration for our inaugural issue, please submit your contribution by October 1, 2025.
In addition to publishing original submissions, the inaugural issue will include select papers presented at the 2025 meeting of the North American Society for Philosophical Hermeneutics.
