Details

This workshop brings together philosophers, physicists, and mathematicians to explore how fields function across different physical theories, including classical electromagnetism, quantum field theory, and general relativity. It focuses on key conceptual and ontological challenges: (i) how fields represent and interact with matter, (ii) whether fields constitute fundamental entities, and (iii) how the field concept evolves across various physical and metaphysical frameworks.
