Young Minds Philosophy e.V. is hosting the Young Minds Conference for the second time—this time with a focus on philosophy of language and in Bielefeld (Germany)!
We look forward to inspiring guest lectures by Dr. Viktoria Knoll (Universität des Saarlandes) and Dr. Leda Berio (University College Dublin), as well as at least nine exciting presentations by students from all over Germany and beyond.
We cordially invite everyone who is interested to join us on October 23 and 24, 2025!
Please register by October 19, 2025 at https://eveeno.com/youngsmindsconference2025.
All registered participants will receive detailed information about the program and the venue in good time. The conference is expected to run from 10 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. on both days.
Our conference gives students from underrepresented groups first insights into academic careers and gives them the chance to present their work and exchange ideas.
We suggest that interested students check with their department, equal opportunity committee, or student union to see if these institutions can help cover travel and accommodation costs.
Financial support for the conference comes from the University of Hamburg's Gender Equity Fund, the Department of Philosophy at Bielefeld University, SWIP e.V., GAP e.V., and DGPhil e.V.
The conference organizing team is happy to answer any questions you may have. Simply send an email to [email protected].
