CFP: Embodied Religion

Dear Colleague,
This year’s biannual conference of the European Society for Philosophy of Religion will be on Embodied Religion.  It will take place in Soesterberg (Netherlands) from August 30 till September 2, 2012. As the principal organizers, we hereby invite you to register for the conference through the following link:

Please note the following details:
- In order to register for the conference you have to complete a website form with various items, including: 1) Your registration as a participant; 2) The number of nights you want to stay in the Conference Center Kontakt der Kontinenten (in a single or double room, breakfast included); 3) The meals and drinks during the conference (except at the bar).
- It is very important to register for the conference before May 1 2012. After this date the organizers cannot guarantee accommodation anymore, because the reservation package at the conference center expires by that date.
- Registration is only valid if you have completed the various fields on the registration form and paid the amount due. Your registration will be confirmed with an email.
- For those of you for whom the cost for staying in the Conference Center exceeds their budget, the organizers have found a low-priced alternative: the former seminary Dijnselburg (Amersfoortseweg 10, Zeist), which is situated 4.7 km from the Conference Center. Dijnselburg has a number of multi-person rooms available for a total number of 50 persons. If you want to stay in Dijnselburg, you have to bring your own sleeping bag, mattress, and towels etc. with you. Breakfast is included in the rate.
- If you want to stay longer in the conference hotel than the duration of the conference, you have to contact the conference hotel yourself for personal arrangements.
- Arrival in the Kontakt der Kontinenten is on Thursday August 30, from 15.00 onwards; departure on Sunday September 2 after lunch.

The conference program, the full text of the main papers, the abstracts of the short papers, and more practical information will be mailed to all participants by mid June.
