CFP: “Philosophy and Idols”

Submissions are invited  to the International Peer-Reviewed Journal “Per la Filosofia. Filosofia e Insegnamento” for a special issue on the topic “Philosophy and Idols”.

Alongside with some invited contributions, some others will be selected among the submitted ones. Prospective authors should send an abstract (max 500 words) to the following e-mail addresse by May 1st 2014: [email protected] with the indication “Per la filosofia-Philosophy and Idols” in the subject heading. Abstracts will be peer-reviewed and the acceptance or refusal of the submission will be notified by May 15th 2014. The Editorial board reserves the faculty not to accept the final drafts that do not correspond to submitted abstracts, or do not pass the further selection process to which final drafts will be submitted. Moreover, the Editorial board reserves the faculty to ask the Authors to revise their contributions to fit them to the referees’ evaluations and/or editorial standards.

Abstracts and contributions can be submitted in Italian, Spanish and English. The final draft must be submitted by July 1st 2014, to undergo the further selection process: the definitive answer on acceptance and eventual requested revisions will be given by August 15th 2014.

The final papers should be written in English, Spanish or Italian. Submitted papers are expected to meet the following requirements:

-          Papers should be between 35000-50000 characters (including spaces and footnotes).

-          All papers must be accompanied with an abstract (about 150 words) and 4 keywords.

-          Papers must be prepared for a blind review – authors’ personal information should be included in a separate attachment only.
