(Updated 10/13/2025) We are honored to announce that Dr. Jason Stanley will deliver a keynote speech at the conference. Dr. Stanley's work ranges over philosophy of language, epistemology, and social and political philosophy.

(Updated 10/7 2025) We are honored to announce that Dr.Ezra Rubenstein will deliver a keynote speech at the conference. Dr.Ezra Rubenstein works primarily in metaphysics and philosophy of science, and is currently Assistant Professor at UC Berkeley, Department of Philosophy. 

In addition, we are pleased to announce that the organizing committee has secured accommodations for invited student speakers. Additional funding may be avaliable to partially reimburse traveling cost for selected papers.

The graduate students of the University of Texas at Austin (Department of Philosophy) invite submissions for the 2026 UT-Austin Graduate Philosophy Conference. The conference will be held in-person on February 27th - February 28th 2026, at UT Austin.

We welcome submissions from current and prospective graduate students in philosophy. Each selected paper will receive in-person comments delivered after their presentation. Limited funds are available to help offset travel costs for selected papers.

Keynote Speaker: Ezra Rubenstein (UC Berkeley)

Submission Guidelines

•⁠  ⁠Papers must be no more than 6,000 words, excluding footnotes, appendixes, and bibliography.

•⁠  ⁠Submissions must be anonymized for blind review and in PDF format. 

•⁠  ⁠An additional PDF format cover page must be included in the submission email, including the following information:

    * Full Name

    * Institutional Affiliation

    * Paper title

    * Contact Email

    * An abstract of the paper no longer than 400 words

    * Indicate a topic area

Submission Deadline: November 21st, 2025 at 5pm (US Central Time)

Notification of Acceptance: On or before December 23rd
