Details

Join the new DiSCo event, Low-Fi Futures: A Hands-On Demake Workshop, led by Assad Bokhari, Senior Lecturer in Games Programming & Development at UCA, for FREE! A beginner-friendly workshop in game demaking: no prior experience is required > bring your laptop and curiosity! Together, we will rebuild contemporary games in 8-bit form, exploring the creative and political significance of low-fi aesthetics. You’ll leave with both a working prototype to take home and new critical insights into how games reflect and reshape our technological culture. The event is founded by CHASE: Consortium for the Humanities & the Arts South-East England.
