In this talk, Prof. Şevki Işıklı explores how technology reshapes the theological and gendered structures of thought in the posthuman era. Based on the fourth chapter of Women and Philosophy (Işıklı, 2025), it introduces the concepts of the “theology of technological sin” and the “eco-tech-political contract” to reveal how patriarchal logic survives under digital disguises while claiming neutrality and progress. Every algorithm, Işıklı argues, carries a moral trace of its creator — a digital echo of the ancient masculine logos.

The presentation further examines the risk and allure of de-genderization, a process in which the erasure of sexual difference under technocratic rationality re-produces, rather than transcends, patriarchy. By blending feminist philosophy, digital ethics, and mythological imagination, the talk argues that contemporary technologies reproduce theological narratives — creation, fall, and redemption — only this time through silicon and code.

The feminine voice, long suppressed by both religion and reason, now re-emerges as a philosophical necessity to restore balance within the digital cosmos. Ultimately, this talk questions whether a truly inclusive posthuman future is possible without the epistemic re-enchantment of the feminine.
