2026 USC-UCLA Graduate Conference in Philosophy

The graduate students of the University of Southern California and the University of California, Los Angeles, invite graduate students to submit papers in all areas of philosophy to be presented at the annual USC-UCLA graduate student conference. 

We are pleased to announce that the invited speakers will be joined by our keynote speaker, Julia Staffel, Professor of Philosophy at the University of Colorado at Boulder.

The deadline for submission is January 15th, 2026. The conference will be held on April 18, 2026 at USC.

Submission Guidelines 

Papers should be suitable for a 25-30 minute presentation (less than 4500 words, including footnotes). Submissions should be in PDF format, anonymized and suitable for blind review, and include a one-paragraph abstract.
