Details

The Philosophy Department and the Political Science Department at Central Connecticut State University invite papers and paper proposals for their Inaugural Undergraduate Conference on Friday, April 3rd, 2026. All papers related to political philosophy or political theory, broadly construed, will be considered for the conference. We welcome and encourage interdisciplinary submissions from philosophy, political science, law, gender studies, history, sociology, and any other related disciplines that deal broadly with questions of applied ethics, social or political theory, or law.

Accepted presenters will be expected to give a 20-30 minute presentation on their paper followed by a brief discussion.

This conference aims to provide a welcoming forum for undergraduate students to present and discuss their work and ideas. To protect that environment, no papers by professionals, graduate students, or others holding an advanced degree (in philosophy) will be considered.

Please email the following to [email protected] no later than February 5th, 2026
