We invite submissions from graduate students for a conference hosted by the Philosophy Department at the University of California San Diego to be held on May 23rd, 2026. Submissions in all areas of philosophy are welcome. In addition to graduate speakers, there will be a keynote talk given by Cailin O’Connor.

Submissions are due by March 9th, 2026.

Papers should be no more than 4000 words and must be suitable for a 25-minute presentation

All submissions must be in PDF or Word formats and prepared for blind review

In addition, please submit a separate cover letter with the following details: name, paper title, institutional affiliation, contact information, paper abstract (max 250 words), and word count

Finally, please include a few keywords in your submission to help us assign your paper to a reviewer

Authors must be graduate students in philosophy. Co-authored papers are permitted if all authors are currently graduate students

Successful applicants will be notified by early April.

The conference will be held in room 0426 of the Arts and Humanities Building at the University of California San Diego on May 23rd, 2026.
