The third seminar in the series will examine Error Theory, as exemplified by J. L. Mackie and Nietzsche. There is much to be said in favor of the clarity and honest of such a position, but I argue that in the end there are strong reasons to reject moral skepticism. Mackie and Nietzsche actually provide support for the claim that if God existed, there would be a genuine basis for moral obligations.
