Greco-Roman and Lyric Philosophy Conference

Keynote Speaker: Jan Zwicky

We are currently accepting submissions for an interdisciplinary symposium devoted to Greco-Roman and lyric approaches to philosophy, with particular attention to philosophy as a lived, poetic, and perceptual practice.

We invite submissions that engage ancient philosophical traditions, lyric thought, or their contemporary resonances. Contributions may explore philosophical ideas through argument, image, sound, or form, including but not limited to reflections on metaphysics, ethics, language, attention, and meaning.

We welcome submissions in the following formats:

  • Essays

  • Presentations

  • Poetry

  • Visual artwork

  • Sound compositions

Presenters will have a maximum of twenty minutes to present their work, followed by a twenty minute discussion.

This event is open to all scholars.

Submission deadline: February 27

Notification of results: March 2

Conference date: March 7, 10:30 am–3:00 pm
