Details

This workshop welcomes Daniel Ross, translator of Bernard Stiegler's What is called caring? Vol. 1. The immense regression, who will open the session with an introduction to the book and its principal philosophical stakes. Discussions will address Stiegler’s diagnosis of contemporary regression, his critique of political economy, the dynamics of automation and computational capitalism, and his reformulation of care as a political and civic task.   The session is designed both for those already familiar with Stiegler’s work and for participants approaching his thought for the first time.
