The Southwest Seminar in Continental Philosophy is an annual gathering and growing community of scholars. This year, the seminar will be hosted by UC Merced in Merced, California.
Submission GuidelinesWe invite submissions from faculty members, graduate students, and independent scholars at all career stages. Submissions in all areas of Continental philosophy—very broadly construed to include historical and comparative work—are welcome, and should adhere to the following specifications:
● Full Paper: approx. 4,000 words (suitable for presentation in a timeslot of 40-60 minutes, inclusive of Q&A).
● Abstract: 150–200 words.
● Blind Review: To facilitate fair review, please ensure your name and affiliation do not appear on the paper itself.
