CFP: XXI FÓRUM INTERNACIONAL DE FILOSOFÍA / XXI INTERNATIONAL FORUM OF PHILOSOPHY

La Escuela de Filosofía y el Departamento de Filosofía de la Facultad de Humanidades de la Universidad Nacional Federico Villarreal en Lima, Perú, tiene el honor de invitar a toda la comunidad académica y al público interesado al XXI Fórum Internacional de Filosofía, que se realizará del 17 al 20 de noviembre de 2026 en Lima.

En un mundo caracterizado por transformaciones aceleradas y una creciente complejidad social, la filosofía asume hoy la tarea fundamental de abrir caminos hacia la tolerancia política y el reconocimiento de la diversidad cultural. Este Fórum se centrará en cómo el pensamiento filosófico puede contribuir a construir puentes de entendimiento en medio de las tensiones globales, abordando desde la filosofía política y la ética intercultural hasta las nuevas formas de ciudadanía y diálogo social. Los participantes tendrán la oportunidad de reflexionar sobre cómo se configuran las nociones de identidad, alteridad y convivencia en un mundo interconectado, así como sobre el papel de la filosofía en la promoción de una democracia inclusiva y en la articulación de horizontes comunes desde el respeto a la diferencia.

The School of Philosophy and the Department of Philosophy of the Faculty of Humanities at the Federico Villarreal National University in Lima, Peru, are pleased to invite the entire academic community and the general public to the 21st International Philosophy Forum, to be held from November 17 to 20, 2026, in Lima.

In a world marked by rapid change and growing social complexity, philosophy today takes on the fundamental task of paving the way toward political tolerance and the recognition of cultural diversity. This Forum will focus on how philosophical thought can help build bridges of understanding amid global tensions, addressing topics ranging from political philosophy and intercultural ethics to new forms of citizenship and social dialogue. Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on how notions of identity, otherness, and coexistence are shaped in an interconnected world, as well as on the role of philosophy in promoting inclusive democracy and in articulating shared horizons based on respect for difference.
