Details

The APA Studies on Asian and Asian American Philosophers and Philosophies is sponsored by the American Philosophical Association (APA) Committee on Asian and Asian American Philosophers and Philosophies. Our publication serves as a vital forum to report on philosophical work by Asian and Asian American philosophers, explore new developments in Asian philosophy, and foster discussions on topics of importance to our community and those engaged with these traditions. We invite scholars to submit essays that contribute to the advancement of Asian and Asian American philosophical scholarship. Our publication embraces a diversity of views and topics. We welcome discussions on recent developments in modern and classical East Asian and South Asian philosophy, as well as work by Asians and Asian Americans doing philosophy in its various forms. We also consider related work in other disciplines, literature overviews, reviews of the discipline as a whole, and suggestions for spreading and improving the teaching of Asian philosophy.
