Pluartis, a newly founded initiative for the advancement of knowledge & culture, based in Brussels, is proud to announce its inaugural flagship event: The Pluartis Symposium 2026. Taking place from 20–22 August, in the Croatian coastal city of Pula, Istria, this gathering will bring together a global community of thinkers and practitioners to explore the intersection of ancient philosophy and the digital age.

We are honoured to be joined by Professor Angie Hobbs, Professor of the Public Understanding of Philosophy Emerita at the University of Sheffield. A world-renowned voice in classical philosophy, Professor Hobbs will guide our journey, translating ancient ethics into practical tools for modern resilience and leadership.   Our central theme is Architecture of the Soul: Building the Inner Citadel. In an increasingly fluid and complex world, the ancient search for a stable internal foundation has never been more urgent. Together, we will explore how classical wisdom can provide the vital guidance for modern resilience. More details are available on pluartis.com.
