Binghamton University’s philosophy graduate program invites submissions for its

2026 Graduate Student Conference to be held in person on November 7, 2026 at

the Binghamton University Downtown Center.

We welcome graduate students of all philosophical traditions to submit abstracts

related to the following topics:

• Applied Ethics

• Buddhist Philosophy

• Critical Theory

• Feminist Philosophy

• Legal Philosophy

• Philosophy of Gender

• Philosophy of Race

• Political Philosophy

• Social Philosophy

• Value Theory more broadly

Submissions must include an anonymized abstract of about 500 words in .pdf or

.doc format, with a view to present for 20 minutes followed by a 10-minute Q&A.

In your submission email, please include the following:

- Name

- University affiliation

- Current level of graduate studies

- SPEL (Social, Political, Ethical, Legal) themes relevant to your paper

- Your abstract prepared for anonymous review

Conference committee members will anonymously review each submission. Please

email all submissions to spelconference [at] gmail [dot] com no later than August 25, 2026.
