The Department of History and Philosophy of Science of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens announces the 9th Panhellenic Conference on Philosophy of Science to be held in Athens on December 3-5, 2026.
The thematic sections of the conference include all areas of philosophy of science (general philosophy of science, philosophy of special sciences), as well as areas of philosophy (metaphysics, epistemology, ethics, philosophy of language, philosophy of mind, history of philosophy, political philosophy) to the extent that they are related to issues concerning science.

The conference invites submissions for contributed papers and symposia and is open to all members of the academic community, including PhD candidates and postgraduate students. Presentations can be in Greek or English. There is no registration fee. We particularly encourage submissions from individuals belonging to groups that are currently underrepresented in philosophy.
Abstracts should not exceed 500 words, including any bibliographic references. Τhe allocated time for delivering contributed papers will be 30 minutes, including discussion.
Submissions of a symposium proposal must include a general description of the topic and its significance (up to 500 words, including any references) and summaries (up to 250 words, including any references) for each contribution. Symposia will be allocated 2 hours, and can include 3 to 5 talks. They can have any format.

Notifications of abstract acceptance: end of August 2026
