Details

The 1st Colloquium on Phenomenology & Critique will take place from September 30 to October 2, 2026, in a hybrid format, organized by the Graduate Program in Philosophy at UFSM in partnership with the LATIFA research group, and will bring together national and international researchers to further the debate on Critical Phenomenology and the field’s contributions to a phenomenological approach to contemporary political and social issues. The event aims to explore the field of “critical phenomenology” (Weiss, Murphy & Salamon, 2020; Magrí & McQueen, 2023; Hermann, 2023) as a horizon of phenomenological critique capable of encompassing phenomena in the fields of social, identity-based, embodied, and institutional politics.
