Joint AMAMI-SIFA Midterm Conference

The joint Mid-Term Conference of the Italian Society for Analytic Philosophy (SIFA) and the Association of Analytic Metaphysics in the Italian-Speaking World (AMAMI) will take place at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice on September 1-3, 2026 and will bring together scholars working across metaphysics broadly construed.

The event will feature keynote lectures by

- Jonathan Schaffer (Rutgers University)

- Achille Varzi (Columbia University)

Membership in both SIFA and AMAMI is required for participation. Those who already hold a valid 2026–27 membership in SIFA and/or AMAMI are eligible for a reduced conference registration fee, as detailed below.

Faculty: €120 (standard conference fee; includes 2026–27 membership in both SIFA and AMAMI) | €70 (current member of either SIFA or AMAMI) | €20 (current member of both SIFA and AMAMI)

Non-faculty / PhD / Postdoc: €70 (standard conference fee; includes 2026–27 membership in both SIFA and AMAMI) | €45 (current member of either SIFA or AMAMI) | €20 (current member of both SIFA and AMAMI)

Undergraduate: €40 (standard conference fee; includes 2026–27 membership in both SIFA and AMAMI) | €30 (current member of either SIFA or AMAMI) | €20 (current member of both SIFA and AMAMI)
