CFP: MindGrad 2027

MindGrad is a long-established and well-renowned Philosophy of Mind graduate conference held annually at the University of Warwick with the support of the Warwick Mind & Action Research Centre. 2027 will be MindGrad’s 21st edition and is set to take place in person on the weekend of 20–21 February. For this installment of MindGrad, we are delighted to be joined by keynote speakers Professor Monima Chadha (University of Oxford) and Dr. Adrian Alsmith (King’s College London).

This year, the conference will be open-themed and we welcome all graduate papers discussing the philosophy of mind (broadly construed). We also welcome papers that are interdisciplinary and aim to connect the philosophy of mind with other fields, e.g., psychology, cognitive science, and the history of philosophy. If you are a graduate and would like to present at MindGrad, please submit your paper of up to 5000 words—suitable for a 45-minute presentation—using the link below.

Papers should be accompanied by an abstract of around 300 words. All papers will be anonymously reviewed. At the conference, each presentation will be followed by brief comments from a member of Warwick’s Philosophy department, followed by a Q&A and general discussion. We strongly encourage graduate speakers from all backgrounds and career stages to submit.
