The Asian Network for the Philosophy of the Social Sciences (ANPOSS) is delighted to announce its fifth biennial conference, which will take place on 8 – 9 July 2027, Dongguk University, Seoul, South Korea. The event is organised by ANPOSS in cooperation with the Department of Philosophy, Dongguk University.
We invite submissions on any topic related to the philosophy of the social sciences and encourage participation from philosophers and social scientists alike—whether professors, researchers, or students with an interest in this field. Selected papers from the conference will be published in a special issue of Philosophy of the Social Sciences.
ANPOSS aims to foster exchange among those interested in the philosophy of the social sciences, particularly in Asia but also globally. We warmly welcome submissions and participation from both Asian and non-Asian regions.

The submission deadline is 31 December 2026, and notifications of acceptance will be sent by 28 February 2027.
Selected papers from the conference will be published in a special issue of the journal Philosophy of the Social Sciences.
